N 35th Street sits a few blocks south of Villard Avenue, close enough to walk to the Villard business district but far enough off it that the street stays residential. Groceries, pharmacies, barbers, and everyday errands are within a few minutes.
Havenwoods State Forest — the only urban state forest in Wisconsin — is a short drive north, which is a genuinely unusual thing to have near an apartment.
